  • Hi guys,
    Just got my Nov/Dec LS&OR Looks like they missed a part in the series. Have us putting engine together without connecting rods or main bearings.

    • I was just going to ask that same question. I have the gaskets cut out just need to align holes.

        Ah...you are getting very particular in wanting ALL the parts to create the final assembly.

        My abject apologies because something got out of order in the way they were distributed to LS&ORR

        Neil (now Matt?) is taking care of the 'misalignment'

                    I just came up with my own numbers base on the crankshaft and bearing holder.

                      • I missed where you make the main bearings. I've looked at the section on making the main brg supports and the section for making the crank shaft but I can't find where you make the main brg's. My con rods are finished. I can make the main brg's the same way I made the con rod brg's, only need one split brg. Thanks for all the help and the good articles no the construction.Ed
