As to what happened to the move to the Novi Center, a new management company took over and all verbal agreements were off. Plus they wanted $9.00 per day parking, due to the lower numbers of attendees compared to say a gun show.

Well it's time to start thinking of coming to the show this April, With everything going on in the world. Might be a good idea to put some extra away with gas and all.

Will be posting the fuel rules etc. shortly, along with any new info.

There has been a slight change for vendors please note the info below:
If you would like to learn how to become a vendor at the 22nd Annual North American Model Engineering Exposition, please contact Jim Snider, at (419) 350-6223 or by e-mail: pjsnider@embarqmail.com for a vendor package. If you are dealing heavy weight items please let him know so you can be placed in the main area, easier to get in and out

We will be only in the one side as last year, due to the economy etc. as the cost of prepping the other rink would have been prohibitive.

About the only difference is the ones in charge of the vendors sales, are trying to have all the people with the heavy iron in the main arena area, and not in the small rooms!

Remember ALL EXHIBITORS are not allowed to sell at their display whether it is the items on display or by displaying a sign with items on it! There are NO SALES by EXHIBITORS! And parties that break the rule will be escorted from the show.
Hope this will answer the email questions.

For those that are going to come south on I-75 to the Show beware that the exit to Northline rd. is closed You have to go one south to the next exit at Eureka road. The North bound entrance to I-75 at Northline road is closed you have to use the one at Eureka rd.

Glen:
Thank you for the update! It's been a real treat (NOT) to travel the US-23, I-96, I-275 route. One day, probably not in this century, those roads may once again be a pleasure to drive; of course, the dingbat drivers and axle-busting, mega potholes will have to go extinct.

See you at the show,

Neil

Was a great show, good turn out, We were out of there as I pulled the last trailer out at 9:32PM. From the time we started to take the table coverings off the tables the exhibitors that had left to tear down and load out took 6 hours.

The numbers aren't in yet but it was a better turn out than the year before. Since it is only a two day show, Saturday and Sunday. The body count is not as high as your shows John.

Less problems with people trying to sell at the exhibitors area etc. Only had one and he refused to stop and left be fore he was escorted off the property.

Farthest traveled was a guy and his family from India with some of his amazing models will post pictures as soon as the body starts working better. He had emailed a request, to bring his stuff.

I've got exactly the same Russian stereo microscope!

5x to 100x - really worth its low price...

"I believe Sherline sells the mount and scope "

... with a bit of a markup, I'd guess... ;)

I bought the microscope just as a microscope, not a part of any machine tool...

That is an understatement, currently will set you back about $1,000 for scope and mount!
