A google search netted zero responses. I'm looking for information on the late Jean Villette's 4-4-0, the Queen of Barfleur. Other than a cover shot, on Live Steam and a couple of distant pics, I haven't found much.
Is it possible that an article or series was published in a European magazine? Does anyone know what became of his drawings.
I have heard of another gentleman, in South Africa, who has found enough information to build a large scale version of this prototype ( Mt. Gretna Narrow Gauge, Baldwin 4-4-0 ).
Thanks for any possible information.

Thanks for the contact. I'll have to get a letter off to him.
Punta Gorda? Are you affiliated with a club? We've got a pretty good gang here in Largo.
Thanks and regards,
Greg B.

Hi Greg
You up near Clearwater?
No, no club in the USA, only here in Switzerland. My thing is 7/8n2 and I'm trying to convert my standard-gauge pals here in Switzerland. I'm only in PG sporadically - next time will be in February 2006. Would love to set up a 45 mm track when I retire, tho'.

Martin, we have 1-1/4 mile track in Largo, which lies between Clearwater and St, Pete.
I work in 7/8n2, as well as 3-3/4" scale. Years ago I wrote an article, in Live Steam, titled "7/8n2 A Viable Alternative". I have drifted away from it, a bit, in favor of the larger scale, but it's like a lost love. It still haunts me.
We are having our annual meet the last week in March. If possible, c'mon up.
Best regards,
Greg B.
